Beirut harken back to my early days of music discovery. I believe I was a sophomore at University when I stumbled upon their debut release (via NPR), and they've remained one of my favorite folk acts since.
In light of that, you can imagine I get quite excited when a new song by the band emerges. Fortunately today is my lucky day, because "Gibraltar" has landed in our laps.
It's the second single off upcoming album No No No, due on September 11th and available for pre-order here (via 4AD/Resident).
