Why do we like this?
You guys might recognize the mysterious duo Be&Bea from my review back in March. At the time I knew very little, but after getting to know them a little better over the last couple of months, I can finally reveal a bit more information about them. We also get to premiere their newest single "God Knows"!
I was half right in saying that they were from London. However, it just so happens that the other half is from New York. Also, their actual names are Be (Benjamin) and Bea (Beatie). Be works on the production, while Bea is the voice behind those silky vocals we heard in "Grow" and now this latest single.
It's a really lovely follow-up single in my opinion, remarkably different than their debut -- save for Bea's soulful and angelic vocals, which so far have served as the centerpiece to their songs. It's largely synth-y as you'll probably notice, but it gives the single a real kick and bounce to it.
2/2 so far from the duo, and I'm sure there's more good work to come this year from them.
