Beatenberg takes you on a step-by-step tour of the intimacies of a place they know so well.
It's a tour, a light, kind and wholesome tour of a place I have never been and yet it's a familiar feeling listening to this track. It's a folky ballad that builds and retracts itself as the journey goes on. It's not only a track that somehow sounds cultural but is also welcome around any drinking table in the summer sun.
The retro acoustic sound of Beatenberg has been missed for a while now and it's a joy to hear their summer strumming over the speaker.
