Why do we like this?

Beat Culture is the alias of wonder kid Sunik Kim, an electronic bedroom producer who's currently a college sophomore. Born in Hong Kong and now living in the states via Tokyo, Beat Culture released his first album, Tokyo Dreamer, in 2012, and has spent much of the last two years writing new material that he's finally ready to release upon the world.

"Shibuya" is the breathtaking new tune, following on from the acclaimed "Drifter." Enlisting the Bjork-like vocal talents of eclectic artist KID A, "Shibuya" is an enchanting progression of Beat Culture's ethereal electronica, with distorted melodies and thumping percussion building to a memorable conclusion.

There's something mythical about Beat Culture's sound that draws you in, and there is no doubt he is one to watch for in the future.
