Rap fans have been waiting almost six years for a full length collaboration from New York rap collective Beast Coast, and today it finally arrived in the form of the brooding "Left Hand."
Comprising of Joey Bada$$, The Underachievers, and Flatbush Zombies, Beast Coast are the rap crew we've been waiting for. The first official track from the group, "Left Hand," is a classic New York hip-hop jam with hazy and engaging production from Tyler Dopps and Sam Wish.
Taken from the rumored BEASTCOAST album set to drop later this year, the track showcases each of the rappers distinct personalities, as well offering Bada$$'s Pro Era comrades Kirk Night, Nyck Caution, and CJ Fly time to shine on the mic in a special guest capacity.
It's hard to say who gets the best verse but The Underachievers Issa Gold gives it a red hot go while Flatbush Zombies Meechy Darko's familiar harshness is always a welcome addition to any song.
One of the best hip-hop tracks of 2019 so far.
