Why do we like this?

Vancouver-based electro dance band Bear Mountain is slated to perform at this year's Governors Ball at Randell's Island, so consider this a pre-game warm-up to an eventful presentation of sound.

Bear Mountain has garnered praises from their debut album XO, and will continue to demand adoration with their new single, "Congo." The rhythmic arrangement of bongos, strings and looped chants of children in the fields is a great way to kickstart your summer!

The band has been touring with Bloc Party, is scheduled to perform at the aforementioned Gov Ball, and will also make stops at Lollapalooza, Austin City Limits, and other festivals that make you go gaga for music. Catch them while you can!
