Why do we like this?
Brooklyn-based outfit Bear In Heaven have done a great job getting their songs into remix crosshairs. From When Saints Go Machine to CFCF, none of them have really struck a chord with me quite like Beacon's take.
There's a definite dream factor to Bear In Heaven's original work (check out the song "Sinful Nature" for a good example). And that plays well to the hands of Beacon, who apply an ethereal quality (including re-recorded vocals) that differentiates this song from the original in all the right ways.
