Why do we like this?
Brooklyn-based duo Thomas Mullarney III and Jacob Gossett have been going at it for a little while under the moniker Beacon, and are now gearing up to release their debut full-length The Ways We Separate.

I'm liking "Bring You Back" quite a lot. Thomas' ethereal vocals and the stunning chord progression strike a delicate balance that falls somewhere between minimal electronica and dream pop. That means pegging a playlist to this track isn't an easy task, but I think the comparison to Soft Bullets, Rone and Carousel is wholly appropriate.
