Why do we like this?

NEW BEACH HOUSE! Chances are if you've landed on this page, you were excited as me to see what the duo were up to.

It's been a long time since we've heard from them, but the band is gearing up for a new album called Depression Cherry, set to be released on August 28th via Sub Pop.

"Sparks" keeps things easy and shoegazy, a slight evolution that still manages to keep to the band's core sound. It certainly won't make Spotify's hottest tracks of the summer, but I have a feeling indie fans will be happy to give it a whirl.
