Why do we like this?

Beach House’s new single “Lemon Glow” is a trippy venture through a synth-laden environment, only broken up by Victoria Legrand’s vocals. Though, they too are altered to fit the mood.

I feel like she is a Nico for a modern musical world, with Beach House’s tendency to push boundaries and create things that aren’t for everybody, yet filled with artistic integrity.

This song is heavy, dark and simply fantastic. They have been quiet since 2015, it’s about time they stuck their heads up.
