Beach Day first appeared on Indie Shuffle back in December with "Walking On The Streets," and they are now preparing for the release of their debut album Trip Trap Attack, due June 18, 2013 via Kanine Records. I've been hoping they would release new music sometime this year and now they have!
"Boys" is their first single off Trip Trap Attack. It's a fun, girl-powered garage/surf rock track with awesome guitar work, solid drumming, and reverb vocals. It also has an old school 60s sound, yet is still current to the indie rock scene.
