In the music video of Bay Ledges' latest, "In Water," this coastal town artist is dubbed with some magic gloves as is turned from litterbug to river-cleaning do-gooder.
The quality of everything this artist produces is so high and magic gloves are not the reason why. Making music in his bedroom the project was started for fun and with zero expectations.
I saw a video the other day where someone explains that if you want to start anything, do so as a joke. They suggested that that's the way to get anything you want off the ground. And here I was, thinking you needed a Redbull and wings. Jokes aside, a zero expectation approach is definitely one-sided in this artist-listener dynamic, because whenever I see a Bay Ledges track, I expect a lot...and "In Water" doesn't disappoint.
