BBC radio introduces acts from all walks of life, and all styles of music. With radio hosts like Pete Tong, Toddla T, Benji B, and Huw Stephens, you can't necessarily set your expectations to any specific genre, but you can definitely keep them high for quality of music.
About a week and a half ago, Huw's program introduced me to what's now one of my new favorite duos, which we actually covered a couple weeks back. BATTS is a project that is bound to grow out of their internet phase in no time, and will hopefully soon be performing at concert halls and venues all over.
The duo consists of a producer and a singer/songwriter that met by way of SoundCloud, and turned a simple collaborative idea into reality. With the vocalist being based out of Australia and producer stationed in the UK, working together may get a little tricky, but somehow they figure a way to make it work.
Stay updated with the two via Twitter.
