Why do we like this?

Sydney producer Basenji's evolution has been a joy to witness. He shook up the blogosphere in late 2013 with the aptly-titled "Dawn." Now he rolls with Future Classic, crafting warm, glossy releases alongside labelmates Ta-Ku, Wave Racer, and Cashmere Cat.

"Air" is the closing track on Basenji's debut Trackpad EP. It's subtle, aligning nicely with previous releases "Petals" and "Can't Get Enough." You can stream the release on SoundCloud, and order your digital copy via iTunes.

Basenji will be performing live with acts like Cyril Hahn and SOPHIE next Thursday at 1015 Folsom in San Francisco. Look for me. I'll be the fool dancing my face off.
