Barney Artist Stay Close (Prod. by Tom Misch)

Barney Artist is a name you should definitely recognize by now, after repeatedly stellar collaborations with the likes of artists such as Alfa Mist, Tom Misch and Jordan Rakei, to name but a few.

He has just released new mixtape Painting Sounds, and as expected, it's bloody good. "Stay Close" produced by, and featuring Tom Misch, fuses elements of jazz and hip-hop, with a nod to Barney's grime roots. As always, his music is coupled with social commentary and conscious rap, while Tom sings a smooth hook which simply adds to the gorgeous fluidity of the entire song.
