Why do we like this?

When a beat is produced by Jordan Rakei and Alfa Mist it would be quite easy to just talk about it and it alone. Atmospheric and jazzy with loose keys and drums that trip and stumble over itself, it's quite delightful in its own right.

Then Barney Artist steps up to the plate and delivers a wonderfully rhythmic rap, drawing the listener in to the social commentary and on-point subject matter which touches on racism, religion, education, acceptance, and so much more that our society grapples with.

"Leave" is another great track from his Painting Sounds EP which also features the stellar "Stay Close" (Prod. by Tom Misch).
