I'm going to struggle to explain this one, but I wish this was the soundtrack to my Bar Mitzvah's highlight reel. It was a hugely momentous day for me, becoming a man and all, and this Banzai Cliff track just has such an easy way about it.
To start off, you're better off wearing socks with this song than with any other I've heard in the past while. Everyone at Bar Mitzvahs wears socks.
Secondly, even though I didn't ascend into manhood in the '80s, it's a given that '80s music will find it's way in the Barmie DJ's set-list.
My 13 year old self is crying a bit that I wasn't this cool back then, perhaps it's time for another Bar Mitzvah.
