Following on from last months irrepressible single, "Our Apartment," Nashville artist Bantug is back with the dreamy "Shapes."
The second track taken from her forthcoming Red EP, "Shapes" is a vibrant concoction of swirling synths and Bantug's dreamy vocals. Reminiscent of '80s pop favorites, with an uplifting melody, "Shapes" is another wonderful song from the aspiring woodworker. Bantug had this to say about the tracks meaning:
This is a really personal one. It’s about how some people just dive into their relationships and forget about the people that have been in their life. I don’t think it’s anyone’s intention to forget a good friend, but when you enter into a relationship, you start to see changes within yourself, and these are the ‘shapes’ I’m referring to.
Red EP is set to drop May 25th.
