Nashville talent Bantug has just dropped, "Our Apartment," the first single from her upcoming Red EP.
Following on from last year's Blue EP, this six track collection is another diverse offering of dreamy electro-pop ditties anchored by Bantug's introspective lyrics.
"Our Apartment" is a breezy synth number, melding Bantug's sugary vocals with vibrant electronica. There's something about her wistful vocals that draw you in as the probing melodies take control of your body. This song is seriously good.
Talking with No Country For New Nashville Bantug had this to say about the track;
At first it can strike you as a more sensual song, so I try to bring it into a sweeter side in the chorus. The lyrics definitely allude to a more stereotypical kind of intimacy within a relationship, so evening it out in the chorus helped it to be not so one-dimensional.
The Red EP is set for a spring 2018 release.
