Okay, Banks, you got me... and probably the rest of San Francisco, too.
Last night, the Los Angeles flame came to San Francisco to strut her stuff in front of a sold-out crowd at the quaint Rickshaw Stop. And by sold-out, I mean the longest line I've seen at this venue stretching around the block with eager, ticketless fans asking every brother and sister for extras. The hype surrounding this treasure was alive and kicking since coming off a massive support tour with The Weeknd.
Once inside and the lights laid-down low, the stunning Banks came out only to find a swooning crowd with eyes and ears locked and loaded. Singing along with stellar support from her percussionist and guitarist , Banks affectionately displayed her golden vocals and convinced us once again that she is the real deal. Her set was filled with all of her jams from the London EP and more, with "Waiting Game" and "Change" being personal favorites from the night.
With room to blossom and shine even brighter, there's no doubt that you will be hearing more of the gorgeous and ravishing Banks in the near future. She is currently out on her first solo tour, so be sure to catch her when she comes near you. Keep current with Banks by following her on Facebook or check out her website here.
The remix of "Change" is provided by Dream Koala, a self proclaimed laptop artist who lays down some slick downtempo and minimal electronic remixes. Check out more of his joints here.
