The music-release taps haven't necessarily bursted open with the ushering of a new week, but it's a promising start considering how tough it's been to find Indie Shuffle flavored music for the past seven days. Funnily enough, I found Balthazar by listening to the radio a couple years ago. Maybe I should have tried that again last week. However, in terms of music discovery I've never recommended frequency hopping, but chance is bred in all the places we check the least.
That's right, I'm a poet-philosopher now. One tough week on the site and I had time to explore nuances beyond my familiarity. It was cold beyond belief; I had only the cockles of my heart and the thought of her eyes to warm me.
Bereft was my soul, longing for the enchants of far off sounds. These warm notes a tender hug for my spirit, which lay not broken, but scattered across a field.
In this moment, forget not Balthazar's 2015 Thin Walls, and perhaps revel as a renewed glint of hope lays bare on the horizon.
