I’ve had "Cardiac Arrest" stuck in my head for the last three weeks, and I’m thanking the music lords for dropping this gem right onto my lap. Bad Suns, the 80s rock reminiscent group hailing from Woodland Hills, California, does it yet again with the help of Peter Thomas.
For those of you who haven’t listened to the Transpose EP, do it. These guys somehow made every track on this EP flawless, from that first chilling guitar riff on "Cardiac Arrest" to the perfect summer night track, "20 Years."
But we’re all here today to grace our ears with L.A. producer Peter Thomas’ remix of "Salt." Thomas (best known for his work producing Betty Who), turns "Salt" into a total dancefloor treat. Lead vocalist Christo Bowman showcases his signature stadium-rocking vocals while Thomas accentuates it the track with slick and dance-worthy beats. Reminiscent of a Two Door Cinema Club track, this will get you groovin’ and movin’ in no time. Add this track to your summer playlist, y’all.
Bad Suns dropped their debut EP, Transpose, in anticipation of their debut full-length album set to come out some time this year. The group has several tour dates lined up for the season, grab your tickets here.
