I've read a lot about synesthesia (in it's simplest form: the 'blurring' of senses when interpreting stuff). It can happen with other situations, for example, numbers having a smell or fabrics having a sound associated with them, but none is more easier to empathize with than musicians seeing colors within their music. New British x American artist Azusena is one such (as are Pharrell Williams and Lorde).
Aside from this little nugget of information we need to give this wondrous piece of dark pop the big thumbs it needs. An antithesis to the Christmas cheer you'll be hearing a lot at the moment, this is a beautiful addition to her small, but promising discography. Having caught her in London, UK live last week, there's definitely a mystique around this act that will have it's chance to shine in 2018.
