Canadian electronic group Azari & III is dropping a new self titled 12" EP August 7, featuring an insanely catchy single, "Manic." Pummeling background humming, twists of disco house, and Prince-esque vocals give the track the perfect buoyancy for the end of summer. If this group is ringing a bell in your mind, you may have heard their name from past remixes of Cut Copy, Robyn, Monarchy, Creep, and Booka Shade, to name a few.
Along with the single, Azari & III just released an official music video which is the perfect embodiment of the song; scantly-clad women frequent the screen while Azari & III throws down non-chalant jive for days. It's a manic world, and I'm loving it.
