Why do we like this?
With a name like ill-esha, can you really expect this remix to be anything less than a bass-ridden glitch ensemble? I've been posting a lot of glitch/dubstep tracks recently (I don't entirely know how to classify most of them), but I think that's because it's summer time and I'm always in the mood to boogie. So, why stop now?
"Sail" is indie/alternative rock band AWOLNATION's early 2011 breakout single. The original actually has some pretty strong bass influence in the melody, but it's not really what you would call a dance tune. ill-esha builds off the original by throwing her own style into the mix -- and I think it's fair to say that if you're looking for a little bass, you're better off leaving that job to the seasoned glitch artist that's ready to throw down.
