Why do we like this?
Autre Ne Veut's has been flying high on my list of breakout artists of 2013. A couple weeks ago, I reviewed his beautifully smooth R&B track "Counting" "“ a song that still seems to be swimming in my head. This follow-up, titled "Play By Play," is just as irresistible.
This track manages to combine an insane amount of 80s synth with sexy sax riffs that would make even George Michael blush. His soulful builds and emotive falsettos coerce you into feeling his painful pleas until that damn beat drops and then all shit hits the fan (in the best possible way).
