Why do we like this?

I'm mightily impressed by Syence. The California production duo, currently based in the San Francisco Bay Area, have clearly done their homework. Casual music fans want bubbly electro-pop with a slight edge. When I listen to their stunning remix of Autograf and Lils' "You Might Be," I can't help but think of The Chainsmokers, the reigning kings of the genre.

Say what you will about The Chainsmokers, but one listen to this remix should convince you that not all radio-friendly dance music is created equal, and that any producer with a Falling Apple co-sign is doing something right.
