Why do we like this?
Here's an orchestral rock single from Aurganic as they gear up for the release of their album, Deviations, on September 24.
"In Deep Waters" features layers of whirling instrumentals that weave in and out of each other like a silk ribbon. The electric guitar flows with the strings, the piano with the bass, and the drums dance alone. The vocals bring a melancholy tone to an already somber track, but in a good way. At times, the song swirls with luscious compositions, and other moments are modestly thin yet still dark.
Aurganic has a way of gripping all that is dark and chilling, but brightening the sound with their careful arrangement. That meticulous approach really shows through in this track.
