Why do we like this?
Bradford Cox, of both Atlas Sound and Deerhunter, has upheld his euphonious talents and has proven that making awesome music just comes naturally. With a volume of albums under his belt including 2010's Halcyon Digest, Cox didn't take any breaks and came up with enough material for a third solo album titled Parallax, due out November 8 via 4AD.
With a couple of tracks already released to the public: "Terra Incognito," "Te Amo," and "Modern Aquatic Nightsongs," Cox's latest is titled "Amplifiers." The splendor in this song lies within the airy guitar loops paired with romantic croons and soft animal cries in the background.
He still sounds like the Bradford Cox we know, but you immediately sense the difference when you hear these few tracks compared to 2009's Logos. Cox's outlandish sounds never waver from genius and these teasers make me excited for what is to come.
