Why do we like this?
Australia indie-rock trio Atlas Genius have become quick favorites here on Indie Shuffle. Well, Philly-based producer Xaphoon Jones has a remix on his hands that only makes me like the group more. Between his work with Chiddy Bang and the solo tracks he drops off on SoundCloud, Xaphoon Jones is quickly becoming one of my go-to producers when it comes to quality assurance.
"Trojans" went from a catchy alternative rock tune to a badass electronic roller coaster that I want to ride into the sunset. I'm not one for genres, so label this one as anything you like. I am feeling the drum and bass work here, as well as the synths. This is a big track that should be blasting from all our speakers as soon as possible.
