I knew in about ten seconds that I would love "Mystery Colors," the debut single from Astronauts, etc. From the dreamy atmosphere to the introspective lyrics and restrained production, "Mystery Colors" is a wonderfully captivating tune.
The solo project from Berkeley student Anthony Ferraro, Astronauts, etc. is influenced by the likes of Bon Iver and The Antlers. I don't know about you, but Ferraro has definitely caught my attention with his falsetto on this spacious, delicate tune.
"Mystery Colors" is the first release from Astronauts, etc.'s debut EP, Supermelodic Pulp, due out on September 8. Be sure to support good music and check out the official video for "Mystery Colors" below.
