Why do we like this?

Astrea Corp last appeared on Indie Shuffle with "Backwood" in March. The four piece band features Carly Astrea (vocals), Mike Astrea (production/synthesizer), Sandor Davidson (drums), and Julian Cires (guitar). Since March, they have released a few songs in advance of their EP, Paradise Oscine, which is due June 10 via Decades Records.

Single "Varnish Tide" is an electronic-driven track with stellar vocal work by Carly Astrea. The production gives it great style and color -- it's a step in the right direction for a band on the rise.
