I'm a big fan of UK hip-hop, and while I've tended to stick to the grime scene, every now and then someone comes along who pipes my interest, the latest being South-London based Ashley Shakur.
His track "Nokia" is a playful source of nostalgia about a time when iPhones didn't exist and life was much simpler. It's quite the inventive track with a retro-beat from Koji and Shakur's smooth English flow.
If you like what you hear you can suss more of his work here.
Shakur's debut EP Hare This drops February 29.
