Experimental UK rapper Ash Shakur's latest single, "Plenty Of ***," is a celebration of individuality.
Dropping relevant lyrics with his soulful delivery over the melodic production, Shakur addresses how we are all individuals and shouldn't feel alienated from others because we still have much in common. On the inspiration behind the track Shakur says:
“This was a fun record to make as I drew references from a children’s book called Harold and the Purple Crayon. The main protagonist with his crayon had the powers to create a world of his own simply by drawing it. I related to that because my love for creativity started at an early age when I would draw on anything.”
"Plenty Of ***" is another positive and upbeat release from Shakur, who manages to combine spirited lyricism with nostalgic beats to create wonderfully entertaining tunes.
