Art of Sleeping is a Brisbane five-piece who've been around for a couple years, and I'm excited to share their new track "Crazy" here today.
Vocalist and guitarist Caleb Hodges is at the helm, and his gorgeous vocals really lead the way. His tone seems to flow and move so fluidly throughout the melody; that alone is interesting to listen to.
The guitar riffs and bluesy chords are raw and powerful, wildly dancing around the melody throughout. The rhythm section is sexy as hell -- that bassline? Mmmm. It really anchors the higher layers, while those booming drums fill every gap in between.
The track grows and intensifies as it comes to a climactic end, complete with wailing guitars, huge riffs, and some incredible vocal work. I need to see this live.
"Crazy" will be available on December 8 via iTunes. Their highly anticipated full length album will drop mid-2015!
