I've been enamored with this heartfelt track from the relatively obscure Portland band Arrange.
Frontman Malcom Lacey composes introspective bedroom pop that centers around heartbreak and longing. With dreamy arrangements and a kind of soft understated delivery, "When'd You Find Me" has a sad beauty to it that I just can't seem to shake.
The track also maybe taps into a weird masochistic nostalgia I have for angsty break-up music, but that doesn't have to be your cup of tea at all for this cut to pull at your earstrings.
I've gone on to explore the rest of the album
Plantation, and it has been a rewarding find. If you dig the track check out Arrange's
Bandcamp for a free download.
