Arcade Fire has created an uplifting and soul-changing track with Unconditional I - a track for every Lookout Kid.

It's amazing how a single track - just a progressive alt-rock track for instance - can take the moment you are stuck in, contextualize it and then beam you with hope, beating drums and a break that feels like wings on your back.

Arcade Fire delivers a stellar single that is not only an immediate mainstay in their massive library of memorable ballads, but it's also just a well-designed and almost impeccable alt-rock track that hits every box on its way to the finish line.

This lifted me.
