Why do we like this?

Melbourne is a hotbed of musical activity presently, and Andras Fox is a particular name to look out for.

There's more than just Andras, though, a point made by Cut Copy, who have released a new compilation, Oceans Apart, specifically to shine a light on the city's under-heard artists.

The highlight comes from duo Ara Koufax, who layer Brenda Fassie's vocals over a bubbling electronic beat, creating a warm, soulful roller and marking themselves as a name to keep your eyes on.
