Why do we like this?
Joe Arthur is a 17-year-old boy from Bristol. It seems like it's always such an interest factor to call out people's ages, as if the younger they are the more surprising it is that they are making awesome music, but maybe we shouldn't be surprised. It's kinda like how a young Michael Jackson blew people away with his ever-so-soulful vocals -- his ability to cut deep into songs about love and heartache came from a voice far beyond his years.
Not that I'm comparing JA to MJ, but they do both dabble with soul, and MJ could very well be JA's next vocal subject for one of his housey jams. And yeah, I suppose it is a little shocking that Applebottom is so good at such a young age. Okay, maybe we should be surprised.
