Why do we like this?

A few hours ago, Detroit producer Apollo Brown dropped the third single of his upcoming album Grandeur. The track is great, but what sparked my interest was the previous single, "Not That Guy," that I had missed somehow.

The track is classic boom-bap, with choppy, soulful production, and one can notice The Jaggerz' "Memoirs of the Traveller" samples in the background. Vocals are courtesy of Brooklyn rapper Your Old Droog.

Grandeur will be released through Mello Music Group on September 25. You can expect appearances of many guests such as Freddie Gibbs, Oddisee, Sean Price, Rapper Big Pooh, Evidence, Westside Gunn, Planet Asia, Your Old Droog, Ras Kass, Red Pill, OC, and Masta Ace.
