Why do we like this?

A lush electronic landscape complete with Mediterranean influences? Count me in.

This might be a song best listened-to with a good pair of headphones, at least a set of quality speakers. There's a lot going on and all of it tickles my eardrums in just the right way.

The song comes of the Greek artist's upcoming debut album AONIAN (a self-titled release). The single "Ascent" reminds me a lot of Max Cooper who used to be one of my favorite minimal electronica producers way back in the day. This song might just get me to dust off some of those songs...
