"Who U Really Are" starts off at full-speed ahead and then transitions into several places, almost like it's working backwards from the traditional progressions that music has originally had.
The shakers keep you interested and nodding your head, as a male vocal chop chimes in some 15 seconds into the song. Then, a full 15 seconds later, a catchy horn starts to go off alongside piano keys that fill the empty pockets of sound in between brass blows.
And that's the formula. The one that most people won't be able to pinpoint as to why they can't stop listening to this track, and why they must keep it on repeat. The formula is pretty simple: add a transition or new sonic element to the production, every 15 seconds.
While most of you may have not studied the psychology of music, Antra seems to have it nailed.
This is sonic gold at its finest, and it's delicious.
