So, taking a step back for a second. I first saw Rudimental play at Outside Lands Music Festival last year in San Francisco, and was blown away by the talent they had on stage -- Becky Hill, to drop a name. The band obviously has a fine-tuned ear for picking out amazing vocalists, as they've had Sinead Harnett, John Newman, Ella Eyre, MNEK, Emeli Sandé, Becky Hill, and others be apart of their album and/or tour to some extent.
Getting back to the real reason of this post. Anne-Marie. You might ask "So why the Rudimental comment?" Well, this British singer/songwriter has been recently touring with the band providing solid vocal support, just like the previous talent, but is now stepping out on her own with her first musical effort, and it's real good.
"Forget My Number" is definitely a track that will make you not forget her or her number. Her first track ever is a chilled-out soulful tune that showcases this rising and soon-to-be shining star's true talent. With a raw, soulful, and straight-up sexy voice, this girl will be on my radar for days to come, and should be on yours as well.
