Why do we like this?

After garnering support on BBC Radio and shooting up the Hype Machine charts, Annabel Jones' "IOU" has gotten the SoCal remix treatment by indie dance radicals Golden Coast.

Laying her vocals chopped, flipped, and scrambled onto a bed of tribal percussion, the remix has a sunny, almost 'dance music by way of The CW' vibe to it, translating into something which is catchy, hip, and unabashedly pop.

Sitting alongside their own upbeat, sun drenched work, Golden Coast's remix of "IOU" has an edge and polish on it that puts it on our list of pre-game anthems as we get closer to spring break.
