Why do we like this?
"No Beuno" has been doing the rounds for a while, but as I'm new to Indie Shuffle (and a big Angel Haze fan), I think it's worth posting for the hip-hop lovers who trawl the site. For those of you not familiar with Haze, in my humble opinion, she is the best female rapper going around. In an era where female MCs are turning pop (Nicki Minaj), recognized more for their Twitter beefs than musical talent (Azealia Banks), or just plain shit (Iggy Azalea), Haze is bringing female rap back into the spotlight.
Haze explodes out of the blocks on "No Beuno," declaring herself the Queen Bee over a snare snapping synthetic beat that immediately sets a "don't fuck with me" tone. Aggressive, brash, and raw, "No Beuno" is Haze in rugged form, decimating her competition with her ferocious flow and lyrical dominance.
Believe the hype people, Haze is the real deal.
