Andrew Judah with a dancey, indie rock track? What's this? A singer/songwriter/composer from the Canadian west coast has had a few tracks featured by us. He's known for his near rock-opera baroque stylings and song structures blending electronic and organic instruments.
This new song, released as a solo single, takes things in a more uptempo, catchy direction -- just wait until that guitar line kicks in halfway through; like, um, totally awesome. Yet he does it without losing touch with his darkly epic roots, making a definite add to your summer playlists.
If you're in BC, he and his new band (now a trio) will be playing Ponderosa, a very cool and intimate music festival I had the pleasure of checking out last year. Don't miss it!
