I'm sorry to say this, but it's a reality: fall has come to the Northwest. Do what you need to do, let out a long sigh, shed a few tears, or put on something really moody, like this brand new and wonderfully epic, OK Computer-esque track from composer Andrew Judah.
Along with fall comes a slew of new albums being released and bands on tour, so cheer up, there's something good to look forward to! Speaking of, Andrew Judah's been hard at work all year on his second release, entitled Monster, which comes out today! (You can download it here.)
You may not be that familiar with Andrew, but you've almost certainly heard his music before, as he has lent his moody soundscapes to a few Lincoln car commercials, including the latest one featuring a philosophizing Rust Cohle––oops, I mean Matthew McConaughey––driving at night.
Monster is an intimate album of epic proportions, featuring stunning compositions that are intricately produced without sacrificing the songwriter's compelling, raw passion. Andrew isn't afraid of taking chances, and this track is a perfect example his impressive arsenal of skills as both producer and songwriter. Give it a listen and don't forget to check out the new album!
