Why do we like this?
Something about the sound of thumping house beats during the summer makes me want to head on over to Ibiza for a weekend of non-stop dancing. It's too bad we don't have an equivalent island venue to enjoy over here in the states -- there's nothing quite like a tropical paradise that's devoted to the electronic music scene.
German duo Andhim bring in that summertime vacation vibe with their minimal tune "Aleefee." It's not quite the same as a Spanish getaway, but it will have to do for the time being. I love instrumental tracks that slowly build throughout the course of the song -- it's like I forget that I'm listening until the peak starts to approach at which point my body explodes with happiness. I'll gladly add this tune to my favorite tracks of the summer.
