The last time we heard from .Paak was earlier this year when he released "Bubblin", another amazing track that gave me hopes for a possible new album on the way.
Turns out I was right.
Anderson .Paak is back with a fun and nostalgic new track (bars) called "Tints." The song features a verse from Kendrick Lamar and is the first single from .Paak’s upcoming new album Oxnard.
With "Tints," Anderson .Paak proves yet again that he can do no wrong. The funky and groovy vibe makes you wanna move like no one’s watching. The track doesn't have any stale moments, with both Anderson and Kendrick giving charismatic and energetic efforts throughout. Kendrick’s flow and voice is just the perfect match to .Paak’s soulful and melodic delivery.
This may sound premature but after listening to the single it looks like Oxnard will live up to the standard that was set by .Paak's last solo album, Malibu.
