Why do we like this?

You may have heard of him as Breezy. You may have first heard him through his spectacular work with Knxwledge. You may have first heard Anderson .Paak on his scene-stealing performances on Dr. Dre's mid-life crisis comeback Compton. Anyone not in one of the above categories needs to wake up to .Paak's power. 

The twenty-something vocalist and musician has not rested on recent laurels. Instead .Paak is going full steam ahead with a newly released two-for-one single "The Season/Carry Me." Raw, personal and oh so soulful, the joints bang, point blank. Repeated listens unearth an inspiring story of perseverance and dedication. This is what true contemporary popular art sounds like.
